The Latino Media Arts and Studies (L-MAS) program is now accepting submissions for the Annual L-MAS Student Awards and this year we are happy to announce a new category for pilot and feature scripts!
The L-MAS Student Awards celebrate excellence in student film production, screenwriting, and media studies scholarship focused on Latina/o/x and Latin American subjects. The competition is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from across campus, and all work must have been completed while students were enrolled at UT. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winner in each category. Any honorable mentions will receive a $250 award, and this year, winners of the new screenwriting categories will also receive badges to the Austin Film Festival!
