WIFT Austin’s Public Relations Chair directs and implements the organization’s public relation strategies. The PR Chair manages media relations, announcements, editorial placement, and speaking opportunities for the Board of Directors and Advisory Board members. The PR Chair works closely with the Marketing and Social Media Chairs to ensure consistency via all forms of communication and the organization’s public image. WIFT Austin’s Membership Chair is the first line of communication to potential, new, and current members.

The Membership Chair must be able to work effectively with every department in WIFT Austin in order to ensure that members receive a great experience with the organization. The Membership Chair must be able to engage current members, reach out to potential members, and continue to grow the membership base. It is helpful if you are an engaged member of WIFT Austin and the local industry. This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated individual who possesses a high level of EQ to connect with people in the local industry and beyond.
