Attention! Planet Texas 2050 seeks videographers/filmmakers/video artists (including UT students) to produce three-minute videos for research teams. These videos will be used in various settings to showcase our teams’ work to both academic and non-academic audiences. The videos will premiere at our spring research showcase scheduled for April 11-14, 2022. Videos would then live on our various online platforms going forward. This is a paid opportunity! The deadline to apply is Jan. 28th.
What Applications must include
Link to portfolio of previous work and/or video reel
A short letter of interest that speaks to your:
a) background and experience in video production
b) artistic and collaborative philosophies
c) your initial ideas for what the video(s) would feel/look like
d) specific interest in any of the flagship projects (note: descriptions above include hyperlinks to 20 minute presentations of each research project)
Two References (can be previous instructors and/or clients)
